March 22,2017/Directions

The modern world has made finding people and places fairly easy. You can use all kinds of applications and technological helpers when driving to get you from Point A to Point B…most of the time.

Sometimes, however, those same helpers can get you waaayy off track! Sometimes, they take you out of your way by miles or even get you even more hopelessly lost.

Christians get ‘off track’ as well. We need to remember that we have been given directional help.

2 Thessalonians 3: 1-5-Finally, breathern, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified even as it is with you. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you free from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Pray.

Understand that all men have not faith.

God, however, IS faithful. He protects us from evil.

Have confidence.

Allow God to do His work in you and direct you.

Love God.

Be patient.

God has given us our directions. In tough times, in easy times…He will guide us as long as we ask Him to do so…just be patient!
